So the drip finally stops...

Chapter 144 is the final one for the manga, of which I just got done reading. Overall I thought the series was very charming. Basically, the whole story is a bit like Teasing Master Takagi-san, but more light hearted and the dude isn't actually dense...in fact he's thinner than air. But it's a nice story about how one person can open up your eyes to see a whole new side of the world you've never experienced before. The art has an interesting style from jumping back and forth between chibi and regular art, which heightens the more comedic moments well. And ...

This is a really, really cute story and a very comfortable read.

I can end the review right there, and it would still convey the central feeling we get from the story. It's a story about playful Kubo befriending the socially invisible Shiraishi, and they are mad cute together. Now, what do I mean by socially invisible?

Shiriashi Junta has no presence, so people never seem to find him/notice him. Apart from his classmate Kubo Nagisa. She was wondering what we are all wondering, how much can Shiraishi do and get away with. Kubo finds out that Shiraishi is a normal, polite boy who is ...

Kubo-san is probably one of the best mangas of its ilk. It is certainly one of the most wholesome and comforting romcom mangas I have read, which is absolutely the biggest strength of this manga. Even if the high school romance format has been overdone, it never took away from the manga's best qualities. The writing also rarely felt too cheesy, which is a very common problem in this subgenre.

Seeing Kubo appreciate Shiraishi for who he truly is, playfully teasing him without going too far, and naturally encouraging him to come out of his shell; it's all very cute and heartwarming. It's also great to ...

This manga can work as a variety of things: a cute little filler for the general reader, a very well-done fluff piece for an SoL/romance-type fan like myself, and - if we're talking on more extreme terms - very effective eyebleach. And in those regards, it works quite well.

Story (7/10): To set it straight - it's nothing special. In fact, if you were expecting much of a story at all, this'd probably be quite underwhelming. But it is, in essence, an SoL, and if we're talking that much, then not only does its storyline suffice, it's even quite appropriate. Regardless, you can't help but agree ...

My first ever review that will probably be removed due to my incapability in writing :D

Story: Kubo-san wa Mob wo Yurusanai is a wholesome story about the female lead, a outgoing and sociable person, showing interest for the male lead, a person with no presence and expression. The story proceeds with the female constant teasing of the male lead which they gradually grow close to each other. The pacing of the story is well-paced and has the right amount of cuteness and comedy.

Art: The art style of the manga is very similar to Karakai Jozu No, clean drawings and detailed facial expressions.

Character: The character ...

After 144 chapters, Kubo-san Won't Let Me Be Invisible concluded with a beautiful ending. There are many positives to the manga, but if I were to pick out the noteworthy ones, it would be the main and supporting characters, as they contributed significantly to the story's overall appeal and progression.

The main characters. Shiraishi is a person with little presence who went unnoticed by everyone in his surroundings, except for Nagisa, who sits next to him and is able to sense his presence normally. The story's progression sees the two classmates gradually develop a pure and playful relationship, bringing comfort to the readers. Nagisa's presence ...

So, the manga just finished (apart from an extra) and I chose it to be my first review, because it's my favorite of the ones being published at the moment, and if you want a comfort casual romance with a lot of cute moments and true friendship, I absolutely recommend you to read it.

The manga starts off as another teaser like Takagi, but as the chapters flow, the series develops its own identity through the feelings of the characters and the interactions between all of them.

Now, the review:

Story: It's a bit hard to give a number for something that doesn't plan to have a rolercoaster ...

I have never kept up with a manga weekly before, I would always fall behind after a couple weeks. When I found Kubo I was hooked and caught up within the first day. It was such a delight to add to my weekly Wednesday routine and I looked forward to it every week, showing up to school telling my friends about it every time. When I realized I had just read the last chapter we would get, I was genuinely in tears.

This is an incredibly heartfelt and happy manga. The story does not matter because its all about the characters. At the start when its ...

This is a review of the manga series, Kubo-san wa Boku (Mobu) wo Yurusanai. In this review, I’ll be comparing it to another similar series, Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san, and as such, there will be spoilers for both.

Now, what is Kubo-san about? In short, it is about high school students Junta Shirashi, whose lack of presence results in people not being able to notice him even when he’s right in front of them, and Nagisa Kubo, a girl who can actually see him, who teases him, and has a crush on him

Story: Kubo-san is an episodic slice of life manga, and as such, you cannot ...

A wholesome, comforting, and cute read about a boy with no presence, and a girl who can always find him.

Story 6/10: The story is meant to be pretty basic and light, there is still plot development and character change throughout the story.

Art 7/10: I haven't noticed any issues with the art, characters are well drawn, not anything terrible or out of this world.

Character 7/10: The romantic yet still friends synergy is cute to read as the characters continue to fall in love with each other slowly but surely.

Enjoyment 9/10: The chapters are short making them easy to read, and I've found great enjoyment ...

This manga is your typical romance slice of life. It doesn’t try to be innovative or special, but has its own nice charms. The premise of the story is that Shiraishi is “invisible” to everyone around him, and often finds himself in funny unexpected situations. However, Kubo is the only person who is able to see Shiraishi regularly. This sparks there relationship that the manga revolves around.

Story 5/10: The story is by far the weakest part of Kubo won’t let me be invisible. The manga barely deviates from a ‘situation of the week’ format, in which Shiraishi is struggling because people can’t see him… ...

Kubo’san doesn’t leave me be is like taking all the wholesome moments of Takagi, and Komi, and increasing them tenfold. Then adding a shojo art style, amazing art, funny dialogue it really stood out in its genre. Many titles small and big have tried to get into the wholesome and cute, genre, and many fall short or flat. However, after reading a whole bunch that were fun, and were enjoyable in the moment but got boring and repetitive, I found this particular one, and absolutely enjoyed it. Its honestly a masterpiece with what it tries to do, and if you like that genre, you are ...

It's a very good manga, with an extremely cute novel, with a beautiful character design, a good development throughout the story, where you understand the feelings of the characters. It's a great novel for those who want something cute, simple, but with interesting characters. It reminds a lot of Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san, with (at least most) each chapter telling a little story/situation that happens with the characters, but the similarity ends there, in Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san, Nagatoro helps Senpai to be to make someone better (at least mentally) while in Kubo-san, she's just going to talk to him every day, then the romance unfolds, without the protagonist ...

This manga is pretty similar to Takiga-san, and it feels like it is just copied with a different art style and background, furthermore it provides us with the same scenario of teasing and wholesomeness, which is what we see in Takagi-san.

All criticism aside, I can't deny I read this for the wholesome and reading joy of youth with two characters, this is an icebreaker for me, mainly because I read those action seinen type of mangas and rarely read these type, when I read something like this, I feel like reliving the ...

Oh man this was such a heartwarming and fluffy read that I would honestly recommend this to any fan of Romance.

I very randomly decided to read this one, Although I had my eye on it for quite a while. Let's start with the review.

The story for this manga is really basic and almost too simple, It's about a boy who is so introverted that no one even knows about his presence. While that plot may have done so many times, The way how Yukimori sensei managed to convey such powerful emotions via this manga is simply amazing. I'm not even kidding when I say ...

ahhh, Kubo-San Wont Let Me Be Invisible.. the DEFINITION of diabetes, but in a sweet, cute, and wholesome way. I wont give much away because, to be frank, that sentence alone describes the entire series, so far. You'll have ta read it yourself to find out what I mean, haha. Its heart warming, and Shiraishi is an adorable MC and Kubo is even cuter. Now, to the points that makes this series pretty good.

Shiraishi- At first I was like 'oh great. another socially awkward MC' but within a few chapters, he definitely grew on me and made me realize he wasnt you're typical MC in ...

`For anime only watchers, Kubo-san is indefinitely postponed so consider reading this in the meantime`
If you like slice of life x romcom manga + teasing = Kubo-san is the way to go.

It's about a mob guy named Junta Shiraishi, who is invisible to everyone because of his lack of presence/expression and quite socially inept. Plain, average, dull guy as he is the extra character you can find in another story. On the other hand is our female heroine, Nagisa Kubo who shows interest to Shiraishi as she thinks on how much he can do while getting away with it due to his zero presence.

While ...

Short review for Kubo-san. I started reading this because I've got a soft spot for teasing+romance manga, and it came out of young jump so it looked like it would be a good time. Now caught up to the latest chapter (68 at time of writing).

Story: 7-
It's ok nothing we've not seen before, the "twist" being that the guy MC is invisible to everyone except Kubo-san (girl MC). There are developments regarding that but I won't spoil.
Otherwise it's the usual, a mix of flirting teasing and wholesomeness overall :). Actually, the wholesomeness might be the story's strongest point, every chapter is either super cute ...

Kubo won't let me be invisible is a fun romantic comedy. I would have given it a 10 if it had a strong, non-generic ending, but that was the manga's only obvious flaw. All of the characters are fun, but the real innovation is creating a male-protagonist in a rom-com who is invisible to his teachers, fellow students, and even automated doors. A lot of rom-coms have a male lead who is basically invisible or poorly written, but this manga makes that it's strength. The art style is "syrupy-sweet", which matches the tonal style of the series. I normally enjoy vanilla rom-coms, but I still ...
